Wild Deer and TurkeyPopular game animals include white-tailed deer, eastern wild turkey, bobwhite quail, ruffed grouse, pheasant, woodcock, mourning dove, rabbit, squirrel, waterfowl and furbearers. Hunting begins with spring turkey season on the Monday closest to April 21 and continues through March 31, when coyote season closes. Missouri hunters harvest about 200,000 deer and 60,000 turkeys annually. A Missouri whitetail holds the world record for non-typical antlers, scoring an astonishing 333 7/8 Boone and Crockett points. The state-record typical whitetail scored a hefty 205 points.

Wild Turkey
This family of Wild Turkey has been seen all over the property...this photo was taken in the
summer and by this Fall these gobblers will be full size!
Deer
This young whitetail was seen in the early evening with the doe and another older brother.
The deer are plentiful in this area and we have several hundred acres available to our guests.
